A Bright Spot

I love Black-Eyed Susans. Next to the Tiger Lilly it is probably my favorite flower. To my amazement and surprise these popped up next to the house. How did our landlord know to plant these for me ... a little ole Maryland girl?

The Joy of Mega Blocks

Thanks to the help of a great friend (Thanks, Jamie), we have a vast assortment of Mega Blocks. Hours of entertainment. The kids LOVE their Mega Blocks as they build and create towers, trains, and buildings. It's fantastic. Now.. if they would only use the play room as their building site instead of the living room.

Has anyone seen Spencer's other flip flop???

In a family of seven I try to be organized. We have a shoe closet that keeps all our shoes together. One of the most frustrating things for me is when I am trying to leave the house, I am gathering the kids and putting their shoes on but cannot find their shoes or shoe in this case. Each child has one pair of flip flops (except for Daryl she has two but she's also a GIRL). So, on this particular day Spencer wore his sneakers instead of flip flops and when we returned from our outing guess what I found...

Goggle Girl

Daryl loves the water. She couldn't get enough of the ocean at the beach, she couldn't get enough of our neighbor's pool. She is a true fish. So we bought her swim goggles. What do you think her reaction was to swim goggles? She LOVED them. Can't wait for swim lessons.
