Yes, we have school on Saturday. Saturday is just like a week day sometimes. Darrel is off studying at the Library and I am home with the kiddos. So... we had school today. It was great! The kids are still too young to notice a difference in the days of the week vs. the weekend. Sunday is the only day that truly differs from all the rest.

In 1844, John Taylor was with the prophet Joseph Smith, Jr., brother Hyrum Smith, and Willard Richards in the Carthage, Illinois jail. An angry mob rushed the jail. The mob flooded the room with bullets from the door to their small room and from the exterior window. The prophet Joseph Smith and his brother Hyrum Smith were martyred. John Taylor was severely wounded in the conflict. His life may have been spared when a musket ball directed towards his chest was stopped by a pocket watch which he was carrying at the time.
