After one full month of not having a washer. I was fortunate to find one with a matching dryer on Freecycle. It was intended for us to take to Maine but after the repair man came on friday and declared yet another problem and said it would be another two weeks... we hooked up our newly acquired washer (16 years old) and went to washing. It's fantastic! What do I have to say about all this?
They don't make them like they use to and Sears repair service is now on my hit list.

I wish I would have known. I would have been happy to have you come over and wash and play. I am so glad you got one though. I love Freecycle too!
