Happy Birthday Daryl!

Daryl turned four this year (November). Hard to believe. We celebrated by inviting her Preschool friends over for a Dora Fiesta. We ate all of Daryl's favorite snacks and lots of cupcakes. We played pin the tail on Swiper, musical chairs, and Bingo. We then used The Map to find the treat bags at the end. It was fun to have friends over and share a special day with them. We will always remember our preschool friends from when we lived in Columbia. I know that at some point we'll move away and possibly others will also. But for now, we enjoy our associations and friendships.

Now that Daryl is four she can:

1. Put on her own coat and shoes
2. Pour her own milk in her cereal bowl (not always encouraged by Mom)
3. Use the potty all by herself (it's taken us a whole year)
4. Unlock the laundry room door by stacking multiple toys on top of each other to reach the top latch (definitely not encouraged by her parents)
