Darrel was working Saturday and so I braved the Wad Christmas Party alone with the kids. After returning from the Pumpkin Theater, I came home made the green bean casserole I signed up to bring and whisked the kids off to the chapel arriving only 30 minutes late. We were seated and began eating turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and rolls. Spencer and I had turkey. There was a room for the kids which was nice and the adults enjoyed the talent show. I also signed up to participate in the talent show. I had practiced several times but when I stood up on the stage my voice quivered and my heart pounded. But, I did it!
